“COOPERART” Exhibition

As part of the 2024 International Exhibitions and Cultural Events Program at Amics per a la UNESCO Barcelona, the COOPERART exhibition was inaugurated on May 21, 2025. This new event was organized by our association to present the work carried out by students from EMAV, the School of Audiovisual Media of Barcelona, in collaboration with the Alas y Viento world mask collection, within the CooperArt program of the Department of Education of the Generalitat of Catalonia.

The aim of the project was to photograph 20–25 masks from the collection—masks associated with events and ceremonies recognized as Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO—for the collection’s photographic archive. The project also explored possibilities for product application through the production of audio/video capsules and voiceovers for an audio guide.

We congratulate our friends at Alas y Viento for this original and beautiful exhibition, which combines creativity with a strong educational and outreach initiative.
