First face-to-face meeting in Valladolid (12-13 March 2024)

Europe Valladolid Masks partner

In the historical and at times modern Valladolid (Spain) the 12 partners - from Spain, Italy, Portugal and Romania - met to define the guidelines of the project "MASKS - Unveiling the Arts and Works behind the Masks", to present themselves and their work plans, to confront each other and to consolidate their partnership. The presentation meeting of the project and partners took place on 12 March 2024 in the Aula Triste of the University of Valladolid by Professor and Project Manager Pilar Panero Garcia and Vice Rector for Research Enrique Vallens Làzaro. On this occasion, pieces of traditional Spanish masks were presented and shown as a visual example of the object on which the research at the heart of the project is and will be based. The partners were able to exchange initial suggestions and motivations for their participation in the project.

On 13 March, they went deeper into the reasons and objectives of the project and thus into the work to be carried out: the partners met at 9.30 a.m. at the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Valladolid, continuing the presentation of the project until late afternoon. During this intense and productive day, the partners discussed the guidelines to be followed in carrying out the research and the communication plan to be put into the field in agreement with all the partners in order to define in particular the visual identity of the project.

The first face-to-face meeting in Valladolid kicked off a solid partnership of partners, who will strive to make their work fruitful and easily usable for colleagues, target groups and the entire European Union.
